Barbara Pavlick earned her B.A. in Economics from Stanford University. While at Stanford, Barbara was accepted into the Overseas Study Program and had the opportunity to experience the British system of education and travel throughout the United Kingdom and Central Europe. Barbara received her M.A. in Consulting Psychology with a specialization in Sports Psychology and a Certificate in Addiction Studies from John F. Kennedy University.

Breadth describes Barbara’s work experience. In 1985, Barbara was a Principal and Co-Founder of The PC Edge, a computer store specializing in selling computer systems and software to corporations in Silicon Valley. In 1989 she took a position in Loveland, Colorado working for Hewlett-Packard as a Customer Support Specialist, then as a National Distributor Product Trainer, and finally as a Product Marketing Manager. While at Hewlett-Packard, Barbara participated in seminars on career development and effective communication. After moving to Park City, Utah, in 1996, Barbara Co-founded and operated a successful lodging reservation business. During nine winter seasons, Barbara assisted over 1500 clients in planning their vacations to Park City.

Barbara’s great interest since graduate school and her Hewlett-Packard days has been career development and academic counseling. Barbara has a strong desire to see her clients succeed in their educational pursuits and works hard to “bring sanity” to the college planning process. Barbara focuses on supplementing the high school counseling process and has cultivated a knowledgeable network of professionals. Barbara’s goal is to assist students and their parents in identifying “best fit” colleges and to plan for a successful college experience. Each year Barbara goes on college tours. She has visited over fifty colleges and universities around the country. Barbara is also passionate about Career Development and will provide guidance in selecting a college major.
